brahtw8, I believe that the G35x (AWD) is only available in Auto transmission, but they are still not specific about it yet...Infiniti web site didn't tell me anything, lol.
Here is what I can think of that I have driven....

2001 MB S500 (auto)
2001 MB E430 4Matic (auto)
2003 MB ML500 (auto)
2003 Lex RX300 (auto)
2003 G35 Coupe 6MT
2002 MB ML320 (auto)
2001 Lex LX470 (auto)
2003 Range Rover (auto)
2002 BMW M3 Convertible (SMG)
2001 Audi S4 (MT and auto)
2001 Audi TT (Roadster and Coupe, both 225hp 6MT)
2001 BMW 330Ci (MT)
2002 BMW 330Ci (MT)
2003 BMW 325i (auto)
1995 BMW M540i Sport (auto)
2001 BMW 740iL (auto)
2001 BMW X5 4.4i (auto)
2003 BMW X5 4.4i (auto)
2000 Chrysler Town & Country mini-van (auto)
1997 MB S500 (auto)
1999 MB ML430 (auto)
2003 VW Jetta 2.0 (MT)
2001 VW Jetta 1.8T Wolfsburg Edition (MT...I'm not sure if it was 2001, but it was a Wolfsburg Edition, so whenever they were first out for the new-model Jettas)
2002 Subaru Impreza WRX (MT)
1992 MB SL600 Roadster (auto)
2001 Honda S2000 (MT)

That's all I can think of right now...the list is completely accurate. The cars all belonged to family/friends/or through dealership test-drives.

brahtw8, how was the 911? I think I'll get to drive one of those soon, I just wanna know every detail I can before I do.
I think the 993 series 911 is a better value, although I haven't driven one.

The Turbo is crazy fast. I didn't like the exhaust note that much with the turbo whoosh, and the driving position is a little upright for me coming from the NSX, but I wouldn't kick the Turbo out of bed. With the X50, it is a real beast, but $17k is a lot to pay for the extra power. The power seemed a little abrubt on the upshifts, but I am sure one would get used to it (indeed, grow to love it). I doubt that was anything more than my lack of familiarity with the car.

The power delivery is rather linear, like a locomotive, which is something that takes some getting used to from being a driver of NA cars. You don't get that extra shove you feel when a NA car comes 'on cam' and hits the powerband. Of course, you will already be pressed into the seat so hard, I doubt you will complain.

If I had money to burn, I would probably go for the GT3 over the 911, but I haven't driven the GT3. It has one hell of an exhaust note, as the salesperson fired it up and revved it for a while. If you want to drive it, you have to buy it.
