Stock Radio Wiring

I know its crazy but I want to retrofit my 325 with an original BMW radio. I purchased one from ebay and although I cant tell if its the original model that came with the car nevertheless its BMW. My problem is that it has two cables coming out of the back, one I know its the antena but the other one (???) a smaller gage cable I cant identify. Any clues??

If you are speaking of the smaller plug right beside the antenna, my guess having seen mine is either the anti-theft plug or a different antenna lead for the weather band.

Does the model you picked up have weather band?

Since I havent installed the radio yet both of your suggestions are possible. Maybe since the plug is above the antenna cable it might be for another antenna. Thanks for your help
